Samsung Galaxy Ring on sale in Ireland today along with new premium tablets and S24 FE smartphone
Samsung Ireland has introduced availability of its first smart ring in Ireland, following its highly anticipated global launch in July
Samsung has introduced an exciting new product line - Galaxy Ring which is set to rival market leader Oura Ring as a discrete but effective health tracker.
It's the company's first smart ring and will capture important health metrics, including sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen, skin temperature, and workouts, with AI insights in the Samsung Health app.
One caveat to consider is you'll need a Samsung smartphone to use Galaxy Ring, whereas the Oura Ring works with any Android device and with iPhone. However, you need a monthly subscription with Oura to access your detailed health insights, whereas Galaxy Ring has no extra costs.
Samsung’s smart ring comes in three colours (titanium black, titanium silver and titanium gold and it costs €459. For comparison, Oura Ring 4 costs from €399 to €549 depending on the style chosen.

Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra
The Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra have boosts to performance and heaps of AI features, but the headline features are their enormous displays.
The Tab S10+ has a 12.4in screen while the Tab S10 Ultra boasts a massive 14.6in screen that’s so big it’s a little like if you snapped the display off your laptop. The difference here is the Tab S10 range runs Android and these powerful OLED touchscreen devices also allow you to write and draw on them with the Samsung S Pen that’s in the box.
Galaxy Tab S10+ starts at €1,149 for 256GB storage and WiFi only, while the larger Tab S10 Ultra starts at €1,399 for the same capacity and goes up to €1,949 for the 1TB WiFi and 5G model.
Galaxy S24 FE
The tech giant has also announced a fourth Galaxy S phone to join the original releases, and it's the Galaxy S24 FE.
Dubbed the ‘fan edition’, FE phones are slightly cheaper versions of the regular and Plus versions of the Galaxy S24, and the S24 FE costs from €779 for 128GB of storage.
This is €140 less than the regular S24 but the FE edition has a larger 6.7in display, whereas the S24 display is 6.2in.
