Bohemians have handed goalkeeper Kacper Chorazka and midfielder James Clarke new contracts - to the delight of manager Alan Reynolds.

Chorazka has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign at Dalymount Park, while Clarke is another fan favourite, having joined the club in July 2022.

Reynolds hailed the news saying: “I’m absolutely delighted that the two lads have committed to extending their contracts with the club.

“They are players of great calibre who want to help this club push on. They are both very talented and have very bright futures ahead of them. They are important to our plans for where we are striving to get to as a club.”

Polish netminder Chorazka (25) spent four years in Cyprus before moving to Bohs last February. He has twice won the Des Kelly Interiors Player of the Month Award.

He said: “I’m delighted to sign. We haven’t had the season we wanted, but I believe as a team we have strengthened and are improving from where we were.

“There is so much to look forward to and to build on. There is a great environment here and a good foundation for the club to grow and improve.

“I’ve loved my time in Dublin and with Bohs so far. It’s a great place to play football, and I am really looking forward to helping this club on our journey and to make our supporters proud.”

And Clarke added: “I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead. I believe I have shown supporters what I am capable of and I want to continue to do that, and push on further.

“I’m delighted to extend my contract. There is great competition for places at this club in midfield now and we are all pulling in the same direction to make this club successful.”
