Fans have admitted they fear for Conor McGregor's fighting future after his appearance on a live stream on Saturday night.

McGregor hosted a live stream for betting company DuelBits as he plugged their online casino.

During the stream, the former two-weight UFC champion could be seen drinking cans of his Forged Irish Stout and admitted he 'might put down 12 cans on this stream'.

The Dubliner also claimed he would 'blaze kush' while appearing on the live stream. While smoking on air, he said: "(Mike) Tyson, wish you well bro. I'm going to blaze your kush for the fans. Lovely, very nice."

After sniffing a large cigar he shouted 'Cuba'.

Mike Tyson owns a cannabis farm in South California. The drug is legal if it used recreationally or medically in the state of California.

Following McGregor's appearance on the live stream, fans feared for his UFC future.

Posting on social media, one fan said: "He’s never fighting again."

While another said: "It's over bro, we gotta let it go. Let's be grateful that the McGregor era happened. He's not the same fighter anymore."

Another added: "This man should never step in the octagon again. He had his fill. He should enjoy his family, being a celebrity and making lots of money."

McGregor was due to return to the octagon in June of this year to fight Michael Chandler but withdrew from the bout through injury.

UFC boss Dana White initially unveiled the fight at the beginning of 2023 and opponent Chandler has now moved on and will fight Charles Oliveira.

The Notorious was in attendance at Wembley Stadium last weekend to watch Daniel Dubois knockout Anthony Joshua. Giving an update on his future from the London venue, McGregor told DAZN: "It will be 2025."

He continued: "We will see. My opponent that I had scheduled... it is what it is. I take it on board and rock on. My job is to go to the gym and be in shape. Whenever it is and wherever it is. I will be 100 per cent ready. I must get two fights in 2025. It's the promised land. Who knows (who the next opponent will be). It does not matter. Whoever, let's see. I like it to be Chandler. I wish him well and see where it goes."

McGregor also admitted he may not commit his future to the UFC after the final two fights of his contract. "I don't know. I don't think anyone knows. What happens afterwards, as I'm a free agent, I'm not sure," he added.
