Leah McCourt: “She’s extremely tough. She’s shown that she can hang with different styles of fighters, but I think she’s not used to the kind of pace or pressure I bring. A lot of my fights are quite high-paced. I think it’s different to her, especially on fight night when you’re waiting around as the main event. It’s extra pressure that’ll play into my hands.”

Ciaran Clarke on issues before his last fight: "Basically I was on antibiotics for ten days. I finished the antibiotic on the Monday of fight week so it was very hard to navigate around that and trying to cut weight.

"The doctor was like to me 'if this was anybody else, they'd be floored, they'd be in bed, only for you're so fit' and I was like right so I kind of took that seriously and I was trying to navigate around it and cut weight, rest and stuff.

"Thank God it worked out alright, but it was very hard to navigate around and get myself back right because I didn't feel right after that."

Darragh Kelly: “It's another step up again so I'm really jumping up a level compared to my usual level of competition.

“He's definitely a striker but he wouldn't be a knockout artist. He would outpunch you over the three rounds. He's a real technical striker and really clean, his offense and defence is on point.

“I think he has good wrestling defence so it's a very good test. This is a massive fight to take. I'm not sure where it will leave me but it will put a lot more eyes on my name for sure.”
