Kerry Katona's daughter in talks for huge movie role as she follows mum into showbiz

Kerry Katona’s teenage daughter Heidi could be set to land a lead role in a huge new movie.
She has auditioned for a major part in a Pinocchio feature film, and those in the industry think this could be just the start. The teen has also reportedly “secured other incredible opportunities” and is determined to make the most of them. Kerry shares her daughter with her ex-husband Mark Croft.
Earlier this year the 17-year-old spoke to OK! Magazine about her aspirations, and it's clear she wants to follow in her mum's footsteps. Ambitious Heidi has already tasted fame on The Voice Kids in 2020, where she reached the second round, and now she wants more.

“She’s already secured some incredible opportunities, including a casting in for a lead role in a Pinocchio feature film, which is a massive milestone," a source said. "What really sets Heidi apart is how professional she is - she’s so focused and grounded, even at this early stage in her career.
"What’s amazing is that she has a young playing age, which gives her so much flexibility for a variety of roles but it’s not just about her looks or versatility, Heidi has this rare ability to truly connect with her characters and bring them to life in such a natural, authentic way," they told The Sun.
Heidi openly admitted earlier this year to OK! "I want to be famous, I don't care what I do, I just want to be famous. It's not even a 'want', it's something I know. I'm going to get there eventually." Kerry recognises the star potential in Heidi, laughing at their similarities: "Heidi is a mini version of me she's so funny and quick, it cracks me up," she admits. "I can see her on TV."
Kerry refused to pay for her daughter Heidi to go to sixth form and speaking in her New! magazine column, the mum-of-five explained why, writing: "She asked to carry on her studies in a private school's sixth form but I refuse to pay for that because she's not in school enough as it is and she hates it.
"It'd be different if she decided she wanted to go to drama school - I would pay for that because she's a born star and is really good. I can see her being famous and she could build a name for herself if she posted relatable TikToks or something, but does any 16-year-old ever listen to their mum?"
The pair acknowledge their likeness, which sometimes leads to clashes, but also a lot of laughter. The teenager said: "Yeah, me and my mum are really, really alike. I think that's why we clash sometimes because we're so similar. But when we're together, we just always laugh."
