Maura Higgins 'proud' of Pete Wicks after the pair were spotted kissing in public
It comes just weeks after Maura was seen kissing The Only Way Is Essex star while out at a restaurant.
Reality TV star Maura Higgins tells rumoured new beau Pete Wicks she is "proud" of him after the release of his new book.
The Love Island star shared a supportive message to Wicks after he released his memoir Never Enough: My Words Unfiltered on Thursday.
It comes just weeks after Maura was seen kissing The Only Way Is Essex star while out at a restaurant.

The former Celebs Go Dating cast member has received support from celebrity pals over the project, with Love Island finalist Maura having expressed her pride.
She shared Pete's post on her Instagram Story, writing: "Proud of you." Maura included a link for purchasing options of the book.
Maura also responded in the comments section of Pete's post promoting the newly-released book, with her having shared a series of emojis depicting clapping hands. Pete liked the comment and replied with an emoji blowing a kiss.
Pete took to the platform to announce the release of Never Enough. Teasing what to expect, he wrote alongside a photo of the cover: "It's incredibly personal to me and as much as it's partly some of my story, the whole point of me doing this was to make it relatable to people.
"It covers suicide, grief, mental health and a whole host of emotions ... we all have them, we all struggle and we all need to understand that it's ok. Life is a f**king rollercoaster and sometimes it's just about trying to ensure you get through each day but amongst the sh*t there are magical, beautiful moments, understanding yourself will help you find them."
It comes amid speculation of a potential romance between reality TV stars Maura and Pete. The rumour began circulating when they were spotted embracing in a "passionate" kiss last month whilst out in London together.
Body language commentator Judi James told The Mirror at the time that they appeared "equally smitten". Judi added: "Especially as their eye contact and eye-attention appears balanced in terms of intense gazing at the other’s face. This is a rare behaviour for reality stars or any celeb couple as one will often be gazing adoringly while the other appears distracted by cameras or even a mirror."
Maura risked fuelling the speculation just days later when she left a 'cheeky' reply on social media to the news that Pete had signed up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which launches next weekend. Reacting to his casting, she appeared to poke fun at the rumours by teasing: "I know what those hips can do. Proud of you."
