Helen Flanagan tears into ex Scott Sinclair as she admits feeling 'invisible' to footballer

Helen Flanagan has opened up about the “sad” truth of her relationship with footballer ex Scott Sinclair and the realities of being a mum-of-three on the dating scene.
In the clip, released on Instagram ahead of tonight’s episode of Celebs Go Dating, tearful Helen opens up about her relationship with Scott. The former Coronation Street actress, 34, split up from fiancé Scott, 35, in 2022 after 13 years together. After being single for two years Helen has joined Celebs Go Dating to find love again. In a sit-down chat, she revealed that she felt “invisible” to her ex, having to compete for his attention.
“We weren’t right for each other,” she shared. “We weren’t compatible anymore. I remember I always used to feel quite invisible with Scott. I feel like I was always fighting to get his attention," she added.

The former Coronation Street star continued: “I remember I always used to feel quite invisible with Scott. I feel like I was always fighting to get his attention. The arguments that we’d have, were just so… it was really sad.”
She then went on to discuss her performance at the masked mixer in the first episode of the show where the stars pick the person they wanted to date after meeting in disguise. Responding to the revelation that she had been upfront with potential matches about being a mum, Helen, who has three kids Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, three with ex Scott broke down in tears.
“I know I do it,” she confessed. “I don't know why I do it. But I think, I don't know if I feel like anyone’s going to really love me”. In the first episode of Celebs Go Dating Helen went on a date with Luke, after meeting at the masked mixer. He seemed to have no problems with her being a mum as the pair enjoyed a smooch on their first date.
Actress and former Corrie star Helen was joined by former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb, Married at First Sight’s Ella Morgan, Love Island ’s Chris Taylor, Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps and Hollyoaks actress Jamelia on this year's Celebs Go Dating.
