Molly-Mae Hague ’s split from her fiancé Tommy Fury was a “long time coming”, friends claim.
Sources say 25-year-old Molly-Mae, who has a year-old daughter, Bambi, with the boxer and TV personality, was growing tired of what she saw as his “gallivanting around the world while she was looking after their child”. In recent months, he has been in Germany, Hungary and Dubai. He was returning from North Macedonia when Molly-Mae released a statement saying they had split up. It was while he was in North Macedonia that 25-year-old Tommy allegedly cheated on her, a claim denied by his spokesman.
A source said: “Problems had been growing for a while. Increasingly, it seemed like they were living two very different lifestyles.” Molly-Mae yesterday looked glum as she broke cover to drive to the gym, while her mum Debbie was later seen out with Bambi pushing her pram not far from the couple’s Cheshire home.
On Saturday, Tommy was seen driving to their home. He took Bambi to the park, where he treated her to an ice cream. He and Molly-Mae met on Love Island in 2019 and got engaged in July 2023. Tommy proposed at a seaside location decorated with hundreds of flowers and petals.
Molly-Mae arrived in a white jumpsuit and took Bambi from Tommy as he got down on one knee. She captioned a post: “Forever. 23/07/23.” But last Wednesday she posted: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.” Less than an hour later, Tommy posted: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.” The couple recently featured in the Netflix reality series At Home With The Furys with the heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury, who is Tommy’s half-brother.
