Sabah survived a sensational comeback from Maccabi Haifa last week, The Azerbaijani side entered the second leg with a three-goal advantage but Maccabi were determined to keep fighting, winning the game 6-3 in 120 minutes. But Sabah would narrowly avoid the banana peel and upset by winning on penalties to advance to this stage.

The winners of this two-legged tie will play FC Iberia 1999 Tbilisi of Georgia or İstanbul Başakşehir of Turkey in the next round for a spot in the Conference League group stages.
