'Positive' hint over Kate Midd

Kate Middleton is expected to join the rest of the Royal Family for their annual summer getaway at Balmoral this month, in what will be her longest trip since being diagnosed with cancer. William and Kate are familiar faces at the sprawling 50,000-acre Deeside Royal estate, having spent every summer there since their nuptials in 2011.

However, there have been murmurs that this year may break tradition due to concerns over Kate's health, following the Duchess' public revelation in March that she was receiving treatment for cancer. In the last few months, Kate has mostly sought rest at Adelaide Cottage within the Windsor estate, while also paying occasional visits to Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Now, The Mail on Sunday reports that she's set to join her husband and their trio of children for the holiday in north-east Scotland, alongside her in-laws, King Charles and Queen Camilla, as noted by the Scottish Daily Express. This long-distance travel decision could be interpreted as a positive sign of her progressive recovery post-diagnosis.

Earlier this year, the Duchess shared a heartfelt update with the general public, expressing that she hadn't crossed the bridge to complete recovery just yet, experiencing "good days and bad days". She added that her treatment journey would stretch out for "a few more months."

Charles is currently enjoying the tranquillity of the Castle of Mey in Caithness, his most cherished Scottish retreat. Despite undergoing cancer treatment, the monarch made an appearance at the Mey Highland Games in John O'Groats on Saturday.

He has chosen to spend some time by himself, planning to move to the Balmoral estate later in the week. He is anticipated to be joined by additional Royal Family members from the following weekend. Kensington Palace has not provided a statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, charming insights into the domestic life of William and Kate have been revealed today, with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis expected to participate in household duties. A source disclosed to the Mail on Sunday a peek into the private family dynamics: "I think it would surprise people to see how ordinary things are at home."

"The children help with laying the table, clearing their plates when they've finished eating and helping with tidying up. There's no preferential treatment." Despite having daytime staff to assist with their hectic schedules, the couple do not have a live-in nanny, and post-school hours are exclusively family time, with William and Kate alternating cooking duties.

The insider continued: "Catherine is very, very natural. She keeps the family down to earth. Home is a safe haven. The children are still expected do their chores and to muck in at home."
