Giovanni Pernice and his girlfriend Molly Brown have called it quits for the second time after the Strictly Come Dancing star became embroiled in a scandal
Giovanni Pernice has split from girlfriend Molly Brown for the second time.
The under-fire ex-Strictly dancer, 33, and model Molly began dating in February, but split three weeks later, before reuniting again. They went on to spark engagement rumours in May when the blonde was spotted with a ring on her wedding finger. But they have now removed all traces of each other from social media.
And sources close to the couple have revealed to the Mirror they have decided to go their separate ways again. One said: "Giovanni and Molly grew very close, very quickly, after they split up the first time and got back together. Their relationship has been pretty full on. But they have rowed again recently and it all came to a head earlier this week, when they called it quits.
"Molly has been very supportive of Giovanni, but he has been under a lot of stress lately and that has taken its toll. It is not impossible they will try to give things another go once the dust has settled a little, after all, they have done that before.
"But at the moment things are quite heated and it looks very unlikely." Giovanni, who quit Strictly earlier this year, is embroiled in a legal war after at least three of his former dance partners complained to Carter Ruck about "serious misconduct." The BBC is also conducting his own inquiry with the help of the Met Police.
Meanwhile, Giovanni, who denies the allegations against him, has instructed lawyers at Schillings. News of Giovanni's split from Molly comes two months after the model stepped out displaying a gold band on her finger. The couple had just returned from a romantic holiday to Dubai and Portugal.
They also bought a new puppy together, named Roxy, with Molly introducing the pup on Instagram with a photo of Giovanni cuddling her. And last month, Giovanni shared a snap of the pair on a weekend getaway at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds. He captioned the snap: "My love."
The source added: "Molly has stood by Giovanni through an immensely difficult time, so it is a shame that they have decided to end things. But at the moment they both feel it is for the best."
