Motorcyclist, 20s, tragically dies in single-vehicle collision in Dublin

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a young motorcyclist lost his life following a single-vehicle collision in Finglas in Dublin on Wednesday.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that occurred just after 2pm on the Old North Road. The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was fatally injured.
The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for a post-mortem examination. The road has re-opened following an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
