Patrick Kielty's wife Cat Deeley has shared a mega-rare upload with their children.

The This Morning presenter is enjoying her annual break from the ITV daytime programme, while her husband Patrick is also on a break from hosting the RTE Late Late Show.

Making the most of her time off, Cat and the family jetted out to France to bask under the glorious European sunshine while Ireland is battered by rain and colder weather.

Taking to Instagram in view of her 474,000 followers, Cat, 47, shared a glimpse of she and Patrick's two sons, Milio, eight, and James, five, as they climbed onto a wall, with a luxury Chanel store in the background. Captioning her upload, Deeley penned: "C'est si bon!" which translates to: "It is so good!"

She later went on to share a clip of the young brothers heading to the local beach while carrying an inflatable boat as they walked along with their inflatables and boat paddles. But it appears Cat is making the most of her downtime from This Morning as she also jetted out to Cabo during the Easter break.

The telly star was seen cuddling her two young sons moments after enjoying some cooling off in the pool. Captioning her upload, she penned: "No school, no hair, no makeup, no worries. Beaches, boys, sunshine, beers, card games, and pools… no rules… well, just the important ones!"

Last week, Cat and her co-host Ben Shephard announced they would be departing This Morning for several weeks. The duo have been entertaining morning viewers on the ITV show but are handing over hosting duties for the summer, confirming they won't be back until September. As Ben and Cat finished their last show for a while, they revealed a schedule shake-up for the coming months, starting with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

Cat rarely shares glimpses of her two children

After showcasing some fun-looking garden games, Cat said: "That's all from us. We'll be back in September." Almost getting her words mixed up, she continued to introduce a segment showcasing the upcoming presenter combinations. Friday favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary are lined up to kick off the packed summer shows from Monday, July 15. They will be followed by a mix of familiar members of the show, including Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett.

New mum Sian Welby will also be making her return to broadcasting for the first time since welcoming her baby daughter Ruby. Signing off, Cat added: "Now that's going to be fun," before Ben added: "You're going to be in safe hands. Thanks for looking after me and Cat for this first term."

Cat gushed that the duo had "the best time ever" before saying: "Thanks for watching. We'll see you in September."
