MMA star Ryan 'Chaos' Curtis is back on his feet following the horrific injuries he suffered in January.

Curtis posted a positive update on Instagram to fans following his journey back to recovery. In the post, Curtis is walking around with the assisted use of a Zimmer frame and is beaming as he leaves a medical facility.

'Chaos' was told that he may never walk again, and since then has been trying to prove the doctors wrong.

The injured fighter recently travelled to Colombia to receive stem-cell treatment as part of his rehab. Curtis admits that it has been a long lonely road but is adamant that he'll be back to normality.

In the new post, Curtis thanks everyone for their support and raising funds for his recovery during this journey so far, but the road to recovery is far from over for the fighter.

"So for right now I still need the chair for longer trips but with time and effort I won't. The job is far from over but we are making all the right strides. I will continue to need rehab for another while which is not cheap but even after all the past going on's of past fundraisers people are still reaching out to put some more on which is a big help as I still really need them now more than ever as this stage is the most important."

"I always say It but thank you all so much for your continued support it really means the world to me and on the bad days It pulls me out of the slump and keeps me going".
