It was a very successful week for team Ireland as they picked up four medals at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta and World Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The week began with a bang as the Ireland women's four team of Emily Hegarty, Eimear Lambe, Natalie Long and Imogen Magner booked their place at the Olympic Games with their win on Tuesday in a time of 06:37.59. Both Hegarty and Lambe won bronze for Ireland in Tokyo, and with confirmation that there will be no changes to the team for Paris, they have a chance to win another medal this Summer.

Fiona Murtagh and Aifric Keogh took home bronze in the A Final of the Women's Pair. They recovered from a poor start to improve their halfway position of fourth and finish in third spot.
