A-list Star Brad Pitt Appears

Brad Pitt is back in Hungary again, as the actor is filming his upcoming movie, F1, at Hungaroring, reports Magyar Nemzet. The world star has already been captured walking around the Hungarian paddock among the Formula 1 teams.

Brad Pitt is already in Mogyoród (near Budapest) and mingling with the teams at the Hungaroring as the 39th Hungarian F1 Grand Prix takes place this weekend. A video has already surfaced of the American actor.

At first glance, many may not even notice him, as the actor walks around the Hungarian circuit in a racing suit just like any other driver. The actor’s “costume” is so authentic that anyone who does not know he is shooting a film might think the 61-year-old star has found a new hobby.

The filming of the sports movie started last year, when it was shot on several tracks during race weekends, but the actor did not come to Hungary due to the strike by the Hollywood Screenwriters and Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA).

This year, however, everything came together. According to press reports, the actor is staying in a luxury hotel in Budapest, from where he is going to the Mogyoród race track every day.

Next year’s movie, F1, a collaboration between Apple Original Films and Formula 1, is not only interesting because of Brad Pitt’s starring role, as one of the producers and advisors of the film is Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion driver who will reportedly play a bigger role in the movie than the other drivers.

The director of the film is Joseph Kosinski, who also directed the popular Top Gun: Maverick. The director’s style is already recognizable in the F1 trailer, as the camera angles inside the cars – filming the drivers – are very similar to those used in the Top Gun movie.

On the music side, big names have also been confirmed for the sports film,

as the composer will be none other than Academy Award-winning Hans Zimmer.

Alongside Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, the film will also feature Damson Idris as Joshua Pearce, the two of them being the drivers of the fictional Apex GP team. In the teaser, the audience got to see not only them but also actual drivers for a few moments, making the experience even more real.

In the trailer, of course, we were also able to see one of the most important elements of this technical racing sport: the car itself.

However, the racing cars of the fictional Apex GP are not so fictional.

Underneath the prestigious gold and black paintwork is a real racing car, not a real Formula 1 car, but a Formula 2 car, rebuilt by Mercedes to look as realistic as possible.
