According to voria.gr, four days before the start of the operation of the Thessaloniki metro, the signs with the new logo "m" were placed on all the facades of the stations.
The final touches on the Thessaloniki metro
The lower case calligraphic "μ" has been located since Tuesday morning outside the 13 metro stations where the final works are being carried out.
The Thessaloniki metro will be inaugurated on Saturday, November 30 and will initially have 13 stations. According to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras, for a few days, travel by metro will be free. The price of a single ticket for the metro is 0.60 euros, while children up to 6 years old will ride for free.
The Thessaloniki Metro will be pet friendly
The Thessaloniki Metro will be, like any other fixed-track means of transport, "pet friendly" with owners being able to transport their four-legged friends, dogs and cats, in small cages or a special bag.
