New information about the death of former model Georgina Cooper, who breathed her last in Greece, is being published by the Daily Mail.
According to information from the British website, 46-year-old Cooper died from cirrhosis of the liver and internal bleeding when her organs collapsed.
Cooper, who used her husband's last name (Smith), fell ill on October 21 while on Kos, an island she had been visiting for the past 20 years.
Initially, Cooper, who was in Kos with her husband, was taken to Kos hospital and then it was deemed necessary to be airlifted to Heraklion, Crete, where she breathed her last after a five-day battle in intensive care.

According to the Daily Mail, the coroner ruled that an autopsy should not be performed as "her medical history was known".
A spokesperson for Heraklion hospital told MailOnline that "doctors did everything they could but due to her condition there was not much that could be done. She died of cirrhosis of the liver and internal bleeding after her organs collapsed. Her body was transferred from Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion and has already traveled to Britain".
Cooper's family and friends are planning a final farewell to the 46-year-old at a ceremony on Wednesday at a crematorium near her home in Kent.
