According to information, one man was wounded in the chest by a firearm and is in a serious condition, another in the hand, also by a gunshot, while the owner of the store is slightly injured.

How the incident happened at the beach bar in Halkidiki
According to the information of iefimerida.gr, yesterday around 23:30 the patrol of Kassandra police station received a signal about an incident at a beach bar in Chanioti, Halkidiki.

During the incident, a group of Bulgarian nationals injured the store owner, also a Bulgarian national, for a trivial reason, punching and kicking him in the face and body. When the police arrived at the scene, they were informed that the people involved were in possession of knives and bats.

The police officers informed the operations center and waited outside the store for reinforcement from an OPKE team that was nearby. After a few minutes, 5-6 shots were heard from inside the store and the patrons left the store.

Upon the arrival of the OPKE unit at the scene, the police entered the interior of the beach bar, where they identified and arrested five foreign Bulgarian nationals, who, following a tip-off, are the ones who attacked the owner.

Two of them suffered gunshot wounds, one in the chest and one in the arm, and were taken to Polygyros Hospital. The owner of the store was also taken to the Kassandra Health Center.

From the information so far, the perpetrators of the shootings are three people, unidentified, who went to the store after the initial incident. So far 4 shells, probably 22 mm, have been located in the area.

"About 24:00 I was alerted to a serious incident with shots and several people involved that were involved in a beach store in our area... In exactly two minutes I arrived on the scene as a first responder with all the equipment and immediately focused on the unfortunate man who had received a bullet in the sternum... After contacting the ambulance service EKAB I asked for specific instructions to handle the incident because it was the first time I was called to deal with a bullet wound... At the same time I asked for two ambulances since there were two other injured and especially one of the multiple hits which he received in the head in combination with the pepper spray, his vital signs were a pressure of 200 with 135 and 165 pulses...", said the rescuer, according to "Kassandra" newspaper.

He then added: "The 2 ambulances received all three injured for their further treatment and transport to the health center of Kassandrea and the hospital of Polygyros...
