Teenager arrested for cannabis

A 17-year-old was arrested on Tuesday in Limassol on suspicion of illegal drug possession and possession of drugs with intent to supply to others.

According to the police, evidence against the teenager emerged following the discovery on Monday of approximately 875 grammes of cannabis. The drugs were packed in 26 nylon bags.

The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
