Limassol police arrested one person for an investigated case of car arson in which three cars were burned and the roof of a house damaged.

Police reported the arrest of a 29-year-old man who was taken into custody overnight on Wednesday.

Two people had been wanted earlier in the day for the crime, which resulted in complete destruction of three cars, after a bomb went off in Germasogeia in one of the vehicles, belonging to a 21-year-old.

Police also established that the perpetrators had attempted to destroy a fourth car by throwing a Molotov cocktail, without success, while the motive assigned was put down to a financial dispute.
