Police in Paphos arrested a 35-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus on Tuesday morning in connection with two theft cases, according to Paphos police spokesperson Michalis Nikolaou.
Nikolaou said that the suspect was apprehended under two outstanding arrest warrants. The first case involves the theft of a vehicle worth €4,000, which reportedly occurred on October 27 and belonged to a 59-year-old man.
The second case involves the theft of diesel fuel valued at €400, allegedly siphoned from heavy-duty vehicle tanks owned by a 44-year-old resident of Paphos. The fuel theft is believed to have taken place between October 26 and 28.
Nikolaou added that two additional suspects, a 27-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, are wanted in connection with the second case.
