Motorbike rider grievously injured in crash with truck

A motorbike and a truck crashed at noon on Friday on Triq il-Ħotba, Żejtun.

Preliminary investigations found that a Honda motorbike ridden by a 62-year-old woman from Hamrun was involved in a collision with an Isuzu truck driven by a 25-year-old man who resides in Luqa.

The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
