Gardai launch search appeal for Tipperary man missing for number of days


Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a 35-year-old Tipperary man who has been missing for a number of days as concern grows for his welfare.



Mateusz Margol, who goes by Matty, was reported missing from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday, August 7. Matty, who is 35 years old, was last seen on Ormond Drive, Nenagh early on the morning of Monday 5 August, before 9am. Matty is described as being approximately five foot 10 inches in height, with a thin build and black hair.



It is believed that Matty currently has a beard and is wearing blue jeans with rips, a black jacket, a baseball cap and runners. He is wearing glasses and carrying a wine-coloured backpack.

Gardaí are concerned for his wellbeing and have appealed for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact authorities.



A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 35-year-old Mateusz Margol, who was reported missing from Nenagh, Tipperary on Wednesday, 7 August.”



They added: “Anyone with information on Matty's whereabouts is asked to contact Nenagh Garda Station on 067 50450, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
