Inside Brian O'Driscoll's family life including wife Amy as he appears on the Late Late Show


Brian O'Driscoll is set to appear on the Late Late Show this Friday night as he chats all things life with host Patrick Kielty.



But the Irish legend will have a special guest with him this time round with Michaela Morley set to join O'Driscoll on the chat show.



There is a famous photo of the pair taken back in 2011 when O'Driscoll visited Temple Street Hospital with the Champions Cup trophy and the photo circulated world wide as an animated Michaela looked delighted to see the rugby star in for a visit.

What age is Brian O'Driscoll and where is he from?

O'Driscoll was born in Dublin on 21 January, 1979 and grew up in Clontarf.



Brian's dad had previously represented Ireland and O'Driscoll went on to attend Blackrock College where he would go on to compete in the Senior Cup.



Playing career

O'Driscoll had a highly decorated playing career and is Ireland's most capped player.



The Dubliner represented his country 133 times for Ireland and played eight times for the British and Irish Lions. He captained the side in their 2005 tour of New Zealand. The Clontarf man also made close to 200 appearances for Leinster.



During his career, O'Driscoll won two Six Nations Championships, including the Grand Slam in 2009, and won the European Cup three times with Leinster.



O'Driscoll was also named Six Nations Player of the Year on three occasions and was shortlisted for Rugby World Player of the Year three times.



The Ireland legend eventually hung up the boots in 2014 and won the Guinness Pro12 title in his final game.



Is he married and how many kids does he have?

Brian O'Driscoll is married to popular Irish actor Amy Huberman.



The rugby star hit headlines in the early 2000s as he dated TV presenter Glenda Gilson before splitting in 2005.



O'Driscoll and film star Huberman tied the knot in 2010 and have three children together.



The pair welcomed their eldest daughter Sadie back in 2013 and then their son Billy in 2015 before the latest addition to the family Ted at the end of 2020.

O'Driscoll still works in rugby, doing rugby punditry. The former Ireland captain is a regular guest on Off The Ball and also works for TNT Sports and ITV.
