Man injured after being trapped between lifter and truck

A man was grievously injured on Friday when he was caught between a lifter and a truck, the police said.

The accident took place in Clarens Street, Pieta, at 8.30am.

The worker, aged 44 of Birkirkara, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
