Quality-control companies focus their activities to a large extent on industry. They offer external quality control, characterised as an outsourcing service. This includes selected processes, especially visual inspection, the technical measurements of parts, components and finished products in manufacturing companies. Other quality processes offered include sorting, pre-assembly, assembly, repair, as well as final packaging of products and their logistics. Companies can do these things at the client’s site or in their own quality centres.
“Companies providing external quality control have quality workers on their teams, which reduces the overall administrative burden and, to a large extent, the cost-wage part for a client,” said Roman Kučera, director of Maxin’s Group, the largest company in this segment.

Kučera added that quality-control companies have a high degree of flexibility in providing human resources, and are responsible for possible damage due to poor quality control.
