The 2018 edition of the Black Sea Defense & Aerospace (BSDA), the largest international conference and exhibition dedicated to defense, aerospace and security in the Eastern Europe is kicking off in Bucharest tomorrow. Running May 1618, BSDA will reunite over 270 exhibitors in the defense, cyber security and aerospace sectors at Romaero Baneasa (44 Ficusului Blvd, district 1, Bucharest).
The renowned event is held once in two years, with many of the participant companies eyeing to conclude military procurement contracts with Romania.
Among the largest defense, security and aerospace contractors coming to Bucharest these days there are Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics, General Dynamics European Land Systems, Harris, Bell, Textron, L3 Technologies, FLIR Systems, Rockwell Collins, Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Thales sau Airbus, pana la Naval Group, MBDA Missile Systems, Damen Shipyards, Fincantieri, Leonardo Company, Nurol Makina, STM, Rheinmetall, IVECO, Jeep, BMW Motorrad, Romarm, Romaero, Aerostar SA, Rom Tech, Pro Optica, UTI, Rohde&Schwarz and so on. Sessions dedicated to the land, air and naval forces are scheduled on May 16, while the conference „WeAreNATO” is due on May 17, and May 18 is booked for cyber security presentations.
The first two days are dedicated to the officials, professional visitors and businessmen, while the last day is open for the large public.
