Three people have been taken to the Mater Dei Hospital after being involved in a traffic accident which occurred at 7AM on Sunday morning.

The accident happened in Triq Dun Karm and involved two cars, a Honda Fit and Suzuki Swift.

The Honda Fit was being driven by a 72-year-old man from Iklin who was accompanied by a 66-year-old woman, also from Iklin.

The Suzuki Swift was being driven by a 28-year-old man from Haz-Zebbug.

All three were admitted into the hospital, and their conditions are currently pending.
