The Malta Aviation Society (MAS) on Friday said it was thrilled to announce the 28th edition of the Malta International Airshow, set to take place on September 27th and 28th, 2025.
As the only airshow in Malta, this much-anticipated event promises a spectacular showcase for both aviation enthusiasts and the general public, featuring thrilling static and flying displays, the organisers said.
The airshow did not take place this year, with the landmark event now taking place every two years due to financial constraints.
“The airshow continues its tradition of educating and entertaining audiences while serving as a crucial platform for interaction between the public and the aviation industry. Over the years, the Malta International Airshow has been instrumental in igniting passion for aviation, with many of today’s industry professionals having made their first connections at this prestigious event,” the organisers said in a statement.
MAS President Massimo Farrugia expressed his pride in the event's growth:
"The Malta International Airshow has become a vital networking hub for enthusiasts and key players in the aviation sector. We are proud of the international interest we have generated over the years and the strong participation of numerous air forces from around the globe."
