Fast ferry trips between Malta and Gozo scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and all of Wednesday have been cancelled, the operators said on Tuesday morning.

The reason for the cancellation is unfavourable sea conditions.  This is as Malta is set to be hit by strong winds in the coming hours and couple of days.

The last trip from Valletta on Tuesday will leave at 11:45am, while the last trip from Mgarr, Gozo will leave at 12:45pm on Tuesday – with the rest of the trips scheduled for that day cancelled.

The operators Gozo Highspeed also said that all the trips scheduled for Wednesday have been cancelled.
