The Met Office has issued an orange – be prepared warning that the West Northwest wind will be strong over the Maltese Islands and very strong over the exposed areas, and will later veer to Northwest.

This warning is valid till ten o’clock tonight (19/2200).

In the same warning the Met Office said that the Northwest wind will reach Gale force at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands. This warning is valid till eight o’clock tonight (19/2000).
