The National Blood Transfusion Service has expressed its thanks to the 23 people who called to donate blood on Tuesday at the Xewkija Clinic in Gozo.
Meanwhile, the Service, continues to encourage more Gozitans to please come forward to donate blood for the benefit of the many patients in need, including those seriously injured, as well as those receiving treatment for cancer in the hospitals of Gozo and Malta.
The next session will be on Sunday, the 29th of January from 8am to 1pm at the Xewkija Clinic. This will be followed by another on Tuesday, the 7th of February from 1pm until 5pm.
“Your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated as always,” the Service said.
The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
