The family of a 29-year-old
construction entrepreneur who died of a heart attack a few days
after being discharged from a Pisa hospital with the mistaken
diagnosis of a muscle tear in January 2010 on Saturday got 1.6
million euros in compensation for his death.
Giovanni D'Angelo from Cascina died on January 4 that year from
a massive heart attack after doctors told him he could leave
hospital as his chest pains were the result of a torn muscle, Il
Tirreno reported.
