Inter Milan vice-president believes that Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez represent the future of the nerazzurri and the fact that it is in good hands.
Club skipper Icardi has endured a frustrating spell in front of goal recently and it has co-incided with Inter's poor form. The Argentine has not scored in the Serie A since early December, during the club's game against Udinese.
Zanetti though, believes that Icardi and Lautaro Martinez are the future of the club.
In an interview with Goal.com,
the club legend said: "The impressive thing about him is all that he is getting and does, especially if we think about how young he is, and is a recognized international goalscorer.
"And we also have the good fortune to have it with us, with Lautaro and him undoubtedly representing the future. They are important for the Argentina national team."
While Icardi is on a goalscoring drought, Martinez's goal helped Inter beat Parma at the weekend, as the late goal helped the side close the gap on second-placed Napoli.
