Gardaí investigating alleged criminal activity at state lands in June of last year have charged a man.

Authorities launched a probe into suspected criminal activity at lands in Killsallaghan, Dublin after arresting a man on the evening of Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that the man, who is aged in his 30s, be charged in relation to the incident.

The man is due to appear before Balbriggan District Court tomorrow morning, Tuesday January 7 at 10:30am. A Garda spokesperson said that investigations into this incident are ongoing.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí investigating criminal activity at state lands in Killsallaghan, Dublin on Wednesday evening 26 June, 2024 have charged a man.

"The man, aged in his 30s was arrested at the time of the incident and the Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that he is charged in relation to the incident.

"He is due to appear before Balbriggan District Court tomorrow morning, Tuesday 7 January, 2025 at 10.30am. Investigations ongoing."
