Prayers said for Kyran Durnin at Christmas masses as Garda probe into missing boy ramps up
He was mentioned by name by priests in Drogheda
Prayers for little Kyran Durnin, who is missing and presumed murdered, were said in churches all around Drogheda over Christmas.
He was mentioned in name by most priests as Gardai followed up several new leads after a flood of information from the public.
The focus now is to track the child's movement in June, 2022 when he was six years old - the last time the police believe he was seen alive.

Detectives are going through thousands of hours of CCTV footage to see if they can locate him with a number of suspects during that period.
A Garda source said: " The timeline has now moved from May,2022 to June 2022 and during this period we believe Kyran lost his life.
"We still have no idea how he died or what happened to him.
"It may have been an accident and the cover-up is worse than the crime. We just don't know.
" But the fact is that certain people knew this young lad was dead and deliberately kept it quiet for over two years. "
Gardai are now trying to narrow down a list of sites where they think Kyran could be buried.
The source added: " There will be more arrests and more digs in the coming weeks. We are not going to rest until we find Kyran's body.
"The people of Drogheda are very angry about this case and want to see those responsible arrested and punished.
" We are all determined that this little lad will get a proper Christian burial."
