Here is everything you need to know about him.

What age is Jack and where is he from?

Jack grew up in Tallaght and was born on 23 September, 1998. He is 26 years old.

Inside his Olympics career

Jack made his Olympics debut during the Tokyo Olympics. He competed in the 58kg category and made it as far as the round of 16 before being knocked out by Argentina's Lucas Guzman.

Jack also wo a silver at the 2022 European Championships in 2022 and European Games in 2023.

Wooley suffered two losses at the Paris Olympics in both the Round of 16 and the repechage.

Personal life

Jack has been going out with partner David since 2021 and the pair often post loved up snaps with each other, including their adventurous getaways.

The taekwondo star also made headlines after being attacked on a night out in Dublin shortly after returning for the Olympics. He appeared on the Late Late Show to tell his story.

Dancing with the Stars

Jack has said he is really looking forward to the experience: "I'm excited. This is something completely new for me. I think taekwondo is going to help because I'm flexible and I know my body, but remembering the steps is completely different.

"With taekwondo, I'm standing in front of somebody who's moving and I’m responding to what they're doing. I'm fighting them, and it's so unpredictable. But with this, you've got the set steps that you have to do in time. That's going to be completely new to me. Luckily, I have a nice start because I've got the athleticism, but I can't just take that for granted!”
