'What's happened?' Bradley Walsh halts The Chase as he airs concern for Shaun Wallace
The Chase host Bradley Walsh halted the popular show on Monday as he showed concern for co-star Shaun Wallace after noticing something different about him
Bradley Walsh brought ITV's The Chase to a standstill during Monday night's episode as he expressed concern for his colleague, the quiz master Shaun Wallace, by asking: "What's happened?"
The latest episode saw four hopefuls - Greg, Jemma, Rachel, and Reuben - step up to the plate, all eager to face Shaun in the battle of wits. Much to Bradley's amusement, their wish was granted as he quipped: "He's so popular, everyone asks for him," before turning to Shaun to ask: "Why are you so popular? Here he comes, the one and only Dark Destroyer himself."
But something was amiss with Shaun's usual look; he was without his spectacles. Shaun jokingly accused contestant Greg, a policeman, of stealing them, saying: "Look, that's him. The man who stole my glasses and my jokes."

A concerned Bradley paused the game to inquire further, asking: "What's happened?" reports the Express. Shaun chuckled and admitted, "I sat on them," prompting Bradley's worried response: "What, seriously? You sat on your glasses?"
Bradley then probed about the purpose of the glasses: "What are they for? Long or short? " Shaun responded, "Short," leading Bradley to kindly offer, "Do you want to borrow mine?" However, Shaun declined with a laugh, jesting: "You've got to be joking. I'd look like Mr Magoo!"
In another episode that aired recently, Bradley couldn't help but call out a contestant on The Chase for their low-offer antics. He cheekily chided the player, urging them "not to be ridiculous" after they suggested another contestant should aim high despite taking a low offer themselves.
The popular ITV quiz master addressed what fans have been noticing as he playfully reprimanded the contestant.
During the episode, one player opted for a lower sum and then dared to advise a fellow contestant to "go high". Bradley remarked: "Rather cheeky from me, Kim, but I really think you can bring the £70,000 back. That was an amazing cash builder."
Bradley didn't hold back as he jokingly admonished the player, exclaiming: "Don't be ridiculous, Jason. Mr 'two grand I'm a gambler'. Ok then."
Jason took it in stride, laughing heartily at the comment. As the game continued, Bradley teased the player again while reviewing the options, saying, "Take no notice of Jason. What do you think?"
When Kim decided to take the plunge for the £70,000, her teammates showed their support, and Bradley, clearly impressed, shook her hand, commenting: "You've got to! That's the way you go, isn't it, Jason?"
