Woman who died suddenly in Irish nightclub named as tributes paid to 'beloved daughter'
Chloe Ferris, 24, and from West Belfast, tragically lost her life in an incident which also resulted in a second woman being hospitalised. The condition of the second woman is not known at this time.
Heartfelt tributes have poured in for a young woman who tragically passed away at a Belfast nightclub over the weekend. Chloe Ferris, aged 24 and from West Belfast, died in an incident that also saw another woman being taken to hospital, with her current condition currently unknown.
A poignant message shared by Healy Brothers Funeral Directors said: "Ferris Chloe. Passed away 1st December 2024. Beloved daughter of Declan and Sharon, much loved sister of Christopher, Declan and Barry, much loved Aunt, Niece, Cousin, part of the 'Sister Squad' and friend to many. R.I.P.
"Funeral arrangements later. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken mother, father and entire family circle."

Local Sinn Fein councillor Claire Canavan expressed her deep sorrow upon hearing the news, "Devastating news about Chloe Ferris. It's absolutely tragic that a young woman has so suddenly lost her life. I want to extend my deepest condolences to the Ferris and Dynes family and friends as they learn about this heart-breaking news."
Sinn Fein MLA Orlaithi Flynn was equally dismayed, remarking, "I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn that a young woman lost her life in the early hours of Sunday morning in Belfast city centre," reports BelfastLive.
"This is an absolute tragedy and I want to extend my deepest condolences to the woman's family and friends who have woken today to this unthinkable and heartbreaking news.
"My thoughts are also with another woman and her loved ones as she remains in hospital today undergoing treatment."
Police are calling for witnesses after a tragic incident left a local community in shock. Colin Neill, the chief executive of Hospitality Ulster, expressed his deep sorrow over the devastating events, saying: "Nobody should ever go on a night out and not return home."
Compassion was also extended by Neill as he added: "As we await more information, we extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the woman who has died."
His concerns didn't end there, as he noted: "Our thoughts are also with the woman who remains in hospital."
A PSNI spokesperson detailed the night's harrowing turn of events, revealing: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman in her 20s at a nightclub in Belfast city centre during the early hours of this morning, Sunday 1 December."
The horror unfolded when emergency services rushed to the scene.
The spokesperson continued: "Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the venue at around 2.20am following reports that two women had fallen unconscious."
The grim reality set in as they noted: "Sadly upon the arrival of the emergency services, one of the women was found to have passed away."
There was a glimmer of hope, however, as it was stated: "The other was taken to hospital where she remains undergoing treatment."
The police are urging anyone with information to come forward. The PSNI spokesperson concluded: "Police inquiries are at a very early stage and anyone who believes they may have information that could assist can contact police on 101 or submit information online via www.psni.police.uk/report
