Rebekah Vardy launches major project with surprising ITV I'm A Celebrity connection
Rebekah Vardy has opened up about her brand new project which she is launching alongside her former I'm A Celeb co-star, Dennis Wise admitting the pair are 'like family'
Rebekah Vardy has announced a new business project – with an unexpected I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! connection.
The TV star has teamed up with ex-Chelsea star Dennis Wise, who she met on the 2017 series of I'm A Celebrity, to launch a new line of sweet-flavoured vodka shots, marking their latest venture and cementing their long-standing friendship.
But their new venture, SK-TL Vodka Shots has been designed after her husband Jamie Vardy's Skittle sweets-infused vodka recipes. Revealing the backstory, Rebekah said, "When Dennis came over, we had some already done on the side." Keen to share the vibrant experience, she added, "So I thought, well, how amazing would it be to bring the vision to life and to create something that was really, really fun."

Partnering with Leicester's Drinks Chef and collecting a troupe of investors, including Julie Anne Quay of Barnsley FC, the pair are rolling out lemon, strawberry, and orange varieties. The boozy line launches with a lively promotional video featuring Vardy and Wise flaunting their playful side.
Rebekah, effusive about the project, commented, "It is a fun drink and shows that we don't really take ourselves too seriously and we can have a laugh," adding warmly, "Dennis and I have always got on really, really well." She admits the collaboration feels like family, "We're really close as a family as well and the kids are really good friends."
The gratitude for her business comrade is clear, "I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to go into business with." Reflecting on their shared history, she remarks, "We got on really well in the jungle and our friendship's developed ever since." Wise, supporting Rebekah's lead on the project, acknowledges her flair, telling PA: "She's got a bit of entrepreneur in her – she won't say it, but she has."
The launch coincides with Wayne Rooney's latest business move, as he's now the new face and an investor in Liverpool-based sports health titan Applied Nutrition. The company made waves when it sailed onto the stock market last month with a stout valuation of £350 million. Vardy shared how, alongside former England midfielder Wise, they've been knee-deep in the development from the get-go, revealing: "We've gone through the branding process, we've gone through the flavour selections, but also it’s a product we truly believe in and we truly enjoy."
He added: "We think the product's brilliant and we hope other people that try it think the same." Rebekah also opened up about Coleen Rooney's stint on the ITV show. She admitted she "couldn't care less" about Coleen following in her footsteps, admitting she's "enjoying" watching Rooney face the show's infamous trials. Rebekah said: "Why would I be uncomfortable with Coleen? The general consensus is that I have a real issue with her being on a show that I’ve done." She continued, "I couldn't care less. I have no issues whatsoever. I’m actually quite enjoying it."
Rooney earned the nickname Wagatha Christie after publicly accusing Vardy of leaking stories to The Sun, an allegation that was deemed "substantially true" by a High Court judge in July 2022. Rebekah strongly denies the allegations.
