The nuptials come almost a year to the day since Doireann announced her engagement to comedian and author, Mark, having gone public with their relationship at the end of 2022.
The whirlwind romance culminated in a gorgeous wedding ceremony today, with Doireann's management company, Noel Kelly Management, writing on social media: "Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan have married in a ceremony with their close friends and family this afternoon."
The first picture of the happy couple as newlyweds, snapped by photographer Anouska, shows Doireann stunning in a unique strapless gown and Mark sporting a classic tuxedo.
A few months ago, Doireann travelled to Barcelona to celebrate her hen weekend with mum Clare, sisters Aoibhin and Ailbhe and her closest friends.
Doireann's sister Ailbhe, who married husband Ruaidhri in 2019, hinted at the top secret aspect of the wedding planning in recent months.
"It’s all go now – top secret, of course! We’re very much looking forward to it," Ailbhe told RSVP Live.
"I can’t wait to celebrate Doireann with her nearest and dearest, but to also have a child free weekend.
"There’s nothing like a family wedding, especially if it’s your sibling’s. It’s very exciting."
