Sabrina Carpenter's fans all 'hope' for one thing as she gears up for festive Netflix special
A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter is all set to air on Netflix on December 6 and features performances and special guests
Sabrina Carpenter has had an amazing year so far and it's about to end on a high note as she gears up for the release of her festive Netflix special.
The one-off show will see Sabrina perform music from her festive EP Fruitcake and fans are hoping it will burst back into the charts and want a new version.
Taking to Reddit, one fan expressed: "I wonder if the duets are new versions of the Fruitcake songs or something else? I'm glad she believes in that EP to promote it because it's one of my favourite modern Christmas projects and I need it to be popular with her newer fans."

Another person enthused: "Oh that is a stacked line up! Can’t wait for the duets! Wonder if we’ll get them on streaming or a Fruitcake deluxe."
Somebody else commented: "As if we needed anymore signs to get fruitcake to number 1." Yet another said: "I hope the entire Fruitcake EP shows up in this special. And maybe we could get new songs?"
A fifth wrote: "I can’t wait!! Hope fruitcake (her xmas EP from last year) will get the success it deserves." While a sixth added: "She's also rumoured to push is it new years yet as a single, so i think if it ever is gonna have success, she's doing the right push for it."
The confirmed duets for the special include Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain and Kali Uchis while many other famous faces will feature in the one-off show. The appearances also include Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevigne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele and Jillian Bell.
As well as starring in it, Sabrina has also produced the show alongside OBB Pictures under her At Last Productions banner. Speaking to Tudum ahead of the airing, the actress expressed: "The holidays have always been so special to me. I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show — infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me."
Sabrina has had a stellar year after releasing her Short N Sweet album. She sold out on her US tour and was nominated for an incredible eight Grammy Awards.
