Live GAA on RTE and TG4 this weekend: Five provincial finals down for decision
Armchair GAA fans are in for a treat this weekend with RTE screening a double bill of provincial final action on Saturday night and TG4 offering a treble bill on Sunday.
RTE and TG4 will screen five live provincial senior finals over the weekend.
Some of the most prized trophies in the GAA will be handed out with hurling titles up for grabs in Leinster, Munster and Ulster, while football crowns are on offer in Leinster and Connacht.
First up on Saturday is an RTE double header from Croke Park, with coverage starting at 5.25pm (5.45pm throw-in) when Dublin champions Cuala meet Louth’s St. Mary’s Ardee. This one is available on the RTE Player.

Then at 7.35pm RTE 2s coverage of the Leinster hurling final begins, with a 7.50pm throw-in as Offaly’s Kilcormac Killoughey go for a second title against Dublin winners Na Fianna.
Na Fianna have never won a Leinster senior hurling title and were beaten in last year’s decider by Thomastown.
The following day, TG4 have lined up a Super Sunday of provincial final action with three live GAA games from across the country.
The bumper day’s action begins at 1.05pm with the meeting of Roscommon’s Padraig Pearses and Sligo’s Coolera-Strandhill in the Connacht football decider at Markievicz Park.
Padraig Pearses are looking for a second Connacht crown to go with their 2021 triumph, while Coolera-Strandhill will be confident after their surprise win over Mayo’s Ballina Stephenites last time out.
Next up is the Munster hurling final, where Ballygunner are aiming to make history again by becoming the first side to win a four-in-a-row in the province.
A win for the Waterford outfit at Semple Stadium would put them clear at the top of the overall roll of honour on six titles, one ahead of Blackrock (Cork).
Another Rebel side, Sarsfields, appearing in their first ever final, are standing in their way, with coverage beginning at 2.55pm and the throw-in from Thurles at 3.15pm.
Sarsfields lost the Cork final to divisional side Imokilly but were hugely impressive in defeating Clare’s Feakle last time out.
The final part of a Sunday triple live TV bill is the Ulster hurling final, with Derry’s Slaughtneil going after a fifth provincial title in nine years against Down’s Portaferry, who are going for their second to go with their 2014 victory.
Action from the Athletic Grounds begins at 4.55pm on TG4 with a 5pm throw-in.
It's also a big weekend for Clubber. The streaming service have five live provincial finals from Leinster and Munster in both codes at the junior and intermediate grades.
Ulster GAA TV will live stream their intermediate and junior hurling provincial finals.
Meanwhile, TG4 will screen the AFLW Grand Final for the first time with major Irish interest. The game will be live on the TG4 Player and App at 8.30am on Saturday morning.
Meath’s Vikki Wall, Fermanagh’s Bláithín Bogue, Cork’s Erike O’Shea, and Tipperary’s Niamh Martin will line out for the North Melbourne Kangaroos, while Tipperary’s Orla O’Dwyer and Dublin’s Jennifer Dunne feature for the Brisbane Lions.
