Shamrock Rovers' Europa Conference League prize money grows with Rapid Vienna point
Shamrock Rovers' Euro earnings are unprecedented for a League of Ireland club.
Shamrock Rovers have secured another €133,000 in UEFA prize-money, taking their tally so far this term to €4,936,000.
And that’s not counting the minimum €200,000 that they will earn now that they are all but certain of a place in the knockout stages of the Europa Conference League.
Four games in and Rovers are now on eight points - two wins and two draws - and they still have to face Bosnian side Boruc at home, before finishing the league phase away to Chelsea.

Thursday night’s 1-1 draw away to Rapid Vienna has moved Rovers’ running total onto €4,936,000.
Hoops boss Stephen Bradley said before the league phase began that seven points might be enough - they’ve gone past that tally now.
By reaching the league phase, Rovers guaranteed themselves a minimum €3.87 million, regardless of their results against APOEL, Larne, The New Saints, Rapid Vienna, Borac Banja Luka and Chelsea.
Their draws against APOEL and Rapid added €133,000 each to their total, and each win has been worth €400,000.

As for qualification to the knockouts, getting to the play-offs is worth another €200,000, while clinching an automatic last-16 spot would see them bank an additional €800,000.
That would be on top of whatever results they get in their remaining games.
