Man, 50s, killed in three-vehicle collision in Wexford as gardai make arrest
A man aged in his 20s has been arrested and gardaĆ remain at the scene of the crash on the N11, where two others were injured in the horror collision
A man has died following a collision involving two cars and a lorry in Wexford this evening. Gardaí remain at the scene of the crash, in which two others were injured.
The horror crash occurred on the N11 at Crossbeg between Kyle Cross and Oylegate around 5pm. A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is being detained at a Garda station in Wexford under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The injuries sustained by two other individuals are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene and the road will remain closed overnight pending the completion of a technical examination by Garda Collision Forensic Investigators. Diversions are in place.
Investigations are ongoing and gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage from the area around the time that it occurred.
“Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a fatal road traffic collision on the N11 at Crossabeg, Co. Wexford, this evening, Wednesday 27th November 2024.
“Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on the N11 and its environs, between 4.45pm and 5.45pm on Wednesday 27th November 2024, to make this footage available,” said a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána.
