Coleen Rooney discusses being 'happy now' with husband Wayne after various cheating scandals
Coleen Rooney claimed that the public has "never forgiven" ex-footballer husband Wayne Rooney for past scandals, as she remains that the two are "a team" and "happy now"
On Thursday’s episode of I’m a Celeb (21 st of November), Coleen Rooney opened up to fellow castmates about her relationship with ex-footballer Wayne Rooney, saying he has not been forgiven by the public for mistakes he has made in the past.
The mum-of-four said although there have been “difficult” times in her relationship with the Wayne, the pair are “happy now”.
After Wayne admitted to driving another woman's car after a night out and exceeding the legal alcohol limit by almost three times, he was sentenced to perform 100 hours of unpaid community service in 2017.

At the time, he apologised for an “unforgivable lack of judgment” and described his behaviour as “completely wrong”.
The ex-footballer had also issued a statement all the way back in 2004 confessing to visiting “massage parlours and prostitutes” during his relationship with the I’m a Celeb Contestant.
He defended himself saying that he was: “very young and immature” at the time and it was before him and Coleen had “settled down”.
Over the course of their 16-year marriage, Wayne has had a number of public faults. He allegedly cheated on Coleen with two prostitutes in 2010 while she was expecting their first child.
His wife discussed this with fellow campmate Oti Mabuse on Thursday the 21st of November’s episode of the ITV show saying: “Since the first mistake he’s made, that’s been in the public, people have not forgiven".

She continued: “When things have happened the public have wanted it to just go oh, split, you know, that’s it, split them up. But the fact is, there’s always been love still there…
"It has been difficult, but we’re happy now, after all those years… we’re a team."
Rooney said the pair, who have been together since they were 16 years old, felt that they has to "grow up quick, because we were living in the public eye”.
She continued that her husband hated the fame of being a footballer: “If he could’ve just played football and had none of the fame I think he would’ve been happier within life.”
The 38-year-old also discussed how romantic her partner once was with fellow contestant GK Barry: “You know the hotel pads? He was always writing a little poem and putting it in his bag and he’d give it to me when we got home”.
