Amanda Serrano shows off battle wounds one week after Katie Taylor bloodbath
Amanda Serrano's eye is slowly but surely healing after being badly cut in last weekend's fight against Katie Taylor.
Amanda Serrano has shown off her battle wounds one week after her war of a fight with Katie Taylor.
Taylor got the better of Serrano for the second time last Friday when she edged past the Puerto Rican on points at AT&T Stadium in Dallas last Friday.
Serrano was badly cut by Taylor after a clash of heads near the midway round of the contest and suggested after the bout that Taylor was intentionally using her head as a weapon.

Serrano swiftly backtracked from that stance in a social media post in the hours after the fight and apologised for insinuating that Taylor was intentionally trying to headbutt her.
A week after the fight, Serrano has taken to Instagram to show off her scars from last week's all-time classic contest.
Showing off a picture of her stitched together eye, Serrano wrote: "Look at my healing scar not my freckles please.
"When you get them doing what you love they’re #ScarsOfLove."
While Taylor has now twice beaten Serrano in classic encounters, but despite being 2-0 up in the series, rumours are rampant that the pair will face off in a trilogy bout, with Croke Park once again being mentioned as a possible venue to finish the great rivalry.
