Andy Farrell will this afternoon name his Ireland squad for this weekend's November series test with Fiji at the Aviva Stadium.

Farrell's charges rebounded from a disappointing defeat to New Zealand with a win against Argentina last time out, albeit, a tight victory which again left more questions than answers.

Fiji will pose a different threat this weekend and with Ireland struggling discipline-wise in their opening two November tests, the islanders could prove to be very difficult opposition when they line-out at Lansdowne Road on Saturday afternoon.

Farrell made just one change to the starting XV across the opening two tests, however, he is expected to ring the changes for this weekend.

Sam Prendergast seems likely to make his first start for Ireland after impressing from the bench against Argentina in his debut last week, with Leinster compatriot Ciaran Frawley in line to return to the bench after being left out of the squad for the Pumas game.

Tadgh Furlong and Tom O'Toole could also return, while Bundee Aki may also be named in the squad after being rested last week.

Farrell will name his side at 2pm, and we will have live updates and reaction throughout the afternoon.

Good afternoon and welcome to the blog. After last weekend's win over Argentina, head coach Andy Farrell spoke about how some players were eager to turn in better performances than what they produced in the opening test against the All Blacks.

"Most responded. There's quite a few of them that were disappointed with last week's performance," Farrell said after the Pumas win.

"I think as a whole we started the game well, our first half was pretty good given the opposition so the individuals were obviously up for that. I thought the subs did a fantastic job.

"It's big for Caelan. It's big being captain of the side. Even subconsciously, not that it's said, I probably put more pressure on him because of last week 's performance. I'm sure he takes a bit of extra responsibility for that.

"He's very good at taking on a challenge and relishing that challenge. He's as good as anyone at dealing at stuff that's not going well and making good sure of it. It's all good learning steps for us."
