Jo Jo Dullard: Gardai issue major update on arrest of man aged in 50s on suspicion of murder

Gardai investigating the disappearance of 21 year-old Josephine 'Jo Jo' Dullard in November 1995 have issued a major update concerning the arrest of a man on Monday aged in his 50s.
The man was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Jo Jo Dullard and was detained under the provisions of section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in Co. Kildare.
However, on Tuesday afternoon, Gardai announced that the man had been released without charge.

"A search operation on open ground at a location in Co. Wicklow near the Wicklow/Kildare border is continuing," said a gardai spokesperson.
"The investigation is ongoing and further updates will follow," the spokesperson added.
Ms Dullard went missing on November 9, 1995, aged 21, after spending an evening socialising on Harry Street in Dublin. Monday's arrest was the first in the case, which was upgraded to a murder four years ago.
